Happy Easter!

It has been a good Easter break so far. I had Good Friday off from work so Annie and I stayed up late on Thursday night watching Braveheart and drinking milk shakes.

We slept in this morning for quite a while. I finally got up and went out and mowed the lawn for the first time this year. Annie got the duty of cleaning up the kitchen. Lucky her.

Right now the kitchen is covered in Post It notes. I am trying to learn the German words for a bunch of stuff in the kitchen. I am getting better. Refridgerator, Kuhlschrank. BOOM!

Oh yeah, also on Thursday Annie and I went and ran 9.75 miles. It was crazy hard this time. We both got really dehydrated and found it very very very hard to run. But we made it, but it stank.

Let's see what else happened today. Well, we had a good series of storms. I played a little Battlefield 2 with Erick and I worked on a project for quite a while.

This week has been a good week for me personally. Got the companies Intranet site layout done in Sharepoint. Sharepoint is quite the animal. I am learning more and more about it all the time.

Also I am not sure if I blogged about this or not but last week I took a Microsoft Certification Exam (Using ASP.NET with C#). Anyway, the test was crazy hard. I am not sure why it was so hard, probably because 1.) I have never written a program in C# or 2.) I didn't really study enough.

Anyway, the test was freaking hard, I was sure I flunked it. I had a two hour time limit to take the dang thing. It was 43 questions long, well I finished with about 5 minutes left.

I ended up passing it through some miracle so I was quite pleased, but when I got done I was physically drained. It was nuts.

Since I passed that test I am not a Microsoft Certified Professional. What does that mean? Nothing. If you pass any Microsoft Test you become an MCP. I have to take two more test before I can become a Microsoft Certified Application Developer. Woo Hoo.

Anyway, I am learning stuff so that is good.
