I think this sort of thing is rare so I feel I need to share.  I got my cell phone bill today.  The bill covers Annie and I's cell phones.  We have been on the same plan for about four years now.  We started the plan with Cingular and have now been migrated into AT&T.   The transistion has been pretty smooth.  We did lose access to our voicemail for 4 days, but that isn't a huge deal.

The last month of Annie and I's lives has been hectic at best.  Annie started teaching in August at her high school, but she is also teaching a German class two nights a week up at Anderson University.  I on the other hand have started a new business, Hilbert Solutions, LLC and that has kept me busy working at least 10 hour days, if not more.  I am also teaching a class at Anderson University.

What that means is that we have been on the cell phone a lot lately.  So, much so that we apparently didn't just go over our minutes but we devasted our minutes.  If our phone bill was Mortal Combat, I would say we put a finishing move on it....you know, Sub Zero style!  Anyway, I called AT&T because I was praying that it was a typo.

Apparently it wasn't.  We more than tripled our usual phone bill.  The lady in customer service explained how we did and then she said... because you are a valued client we are going to offer you a one time credit of (large sum of money goes here).   Basically, they credited my account to make my bill the same as it always is.  Pretty awesome yeah?

I think that is some great customer service and I think we will be sticking with them awhile.  However, I think a new cell phone is in order these days.

Just wanted to let people know that businesses are doing right out there.
