Well, it was my intention tonight to mow my lawn. It rained. It was also my intention tonight to post pictures from Oktoberfest. I forgot all about that and ended up wasting time paying my bills.... I know! Where are my priorities? 
Some exciting news on the home front. Annie and I are going to be going to Greece and Italy with her school this Summer. Many of you know that we went with her school in the Summer of 2005 to Germany, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovak Republic and Ostereich (Austria). We are super excited about it. More details to follow.
Also I went to a sports massage guy this week about my leg. I have blogged several times about how I hurt my leg last April and it hasn't been right since. I have talked to several athletic trainers and they have all told me the same things, do these stretches.
Well, I wanted to try something beside going to the doctor and having a bunch of expensive tests done to tell me that my leg isn't right and than have surgery.
Well the sports massage guy seems to know what he is talking about. He felt my leg and was able to pinpoint on his own where my leg hurt from. He said, that is it right there, that is the root of your pain. And would you know it, he was pushing right on the spot my leg originally hurt from.
To make a rather long story short. Basically, since I didn't stop running after I hurt my leg, my leg compensated for the tear in the quad and started using other muscles.
The massage guy got out some tools that looked like they were made by rubbermaid and broke up my quad muscle and then he instructed me on how I was to retrain my leg to start using my quad again.
I sat and did some different flexes and I could see how my quad wouldn't flex on my hurt leg, but would on my unhurt leg. It was pretty crazy.
I go back next week, and at that time he is hopeful that I should be able to start running again. Of course that is BIG NEWS!
