Well folks, I hate to say it but I have good intentions with the blog but I always forget to do it. Maybe I will get better soon. I sure hope so.
Things have been good. I think since I last blogged I have done a number of things.
One being going to Minnesota to visit my good friend Mike and his wife Angie. It was a great visit of course. Minnesota is a beautiful state. Annie finished up her summer grad classes. She got 3 A+. The girl is amazing. She is going to bring it down a notch since school started back up. Only one class.
Last night we went with my brother and his wife along with our friends Phillip and Amanda to the Indiana State Fair. I had never been to the state fair before but I thought it was a lot of fun. We got to eat a lot of deep fried food and see a lot of animals and 4-H projects. I know this probably doesn't sound that interesting, but it really was. You should definately check it out if you have a fair in your area.
Also yesterday I spent the better part of the morning chasing a racoon out from under my deck. The dang thing butchered my corn I am growing. I seal up all the holes that lead under my yard barn and deck and then I sprayed my hose through my deck and he finally came out.
He went over to my neighbors and we then after a while chased him out across the street. He didn't eat anymore corn last night so that is a good thing. Maybe he is gone for good, but I somehow doubt it.
Got up this morning and went to church. Church was good. (I had a geometry teacher who said that in high school). Then Erick, Sara, Matt, Ken and Scotty (Who was visiting from Michigan) came over. We had a cookout. Played Jarts, and croquet. Ken won croquet. Then we brought it in doors and played Settlers of Catan Cities and Knights 5-6 player edition. It was a long close game, but in the end Scotty won it. BAH!
Well I start teaching up in Anderson this week again. Looking forward to it, but nervous as well.
I have a ton of pictures I want to post, but not tonight.
