To answer a question submitted by Brad on the last blog.
Yes Brad we really do own disc golf discs. Annie and I bought a driver and an all purpose disc last year to play disc golf with Ken. Then for Christmas I got Annie to driver, middle range and putter disc set.
There is a course right by our house. Well it is like 5 minutes away by car. If we had a boat it would be way faster to get to. Speaking of which, who wants to donate to me a working Jet Ski... Not that I really want one, it just seems like something that I should have.
Actually I have never ridden on a Jet Ski or Wave Runner or anything like that before. I would like to though. Hint, Hint, Wink, Wink
Anyway, as the blog is title. Good day.
Today I had to sit down with several departments and present to them a program that I wrote and finished for the departments about 4 or 5 months ago. I did some major cramming to remember how the thing works.
I was worried they were going to have me change a bunch of stuff, but thankfully they didn't. Actually they were really pleased with it. So that is good.
I spent some time weeding the garden a bit this evening. Even though I hoed it up over the weekend some grass and weeds were already poking their ugly heads out.
Annie and I also went out and played some basketball. I taught Annie the art of a great lay-up.
Then Annie had to meet with one of her graduate class groups online so I did my German lesson. It was all about the Trains baby! Suprisingly enough they didn't utilize that awesome song that was popular when I was sixteen that goes a little something like, "Come on ride that train, it's a choo-choo train".
Anyway, that is about it. Besides the load of laundry I did. It came out pretty much the same color it went into the laundry so therefore I consider this day to be a great success.

I feel completely comfortable in claiming responsibility for starting the disc golf craze among us. I started playing it while I lived in KY with some guys from work. I have about 6 discs now so when I want to play with friends I have spares. That's how I got Stu and Annie to go with me once last summer, then they bought their own discs. Soon we will all be addicts!
