Alright,

So I haven't blogged all week. I have a good excuse for this one. I have been super busy around the house. I gurantee this to be fact. Let me see. Last weekend Annie and I went to Evansville to visit my family. Had a good time. We watched "A Knight's Tale" which was actually really good.

Also I decided to check out a problem my sister was having with her computer. The TV functionality wasn't working. Well it is a Sony Vaio all in one jobby, so getting to the TV card was quite a trick. After a lot of disembly I finally made it to the TV card. I took the card out and put it into other computer and it worked fine.

So I reassembled the computer and went to turn it on. Nothing happened. No power up. So I took it all apart again and I couldn't get it going. After a while I gave up. I asked them if it was under warrenty but it wasn't.

I found out that it was going to at least cost $300 to fix. They said I could take it home and work on it. I did, and today I finally got it fixed. There was a wire loose that was inside the monitor. DAG! What a relief.

Let's see what else. On Monday Annie and I ran 6.5 miles after work. We went crazy quick for us. We were trying to get it done before the sun went down.

I bid on a project for some side website work. Which got accepted but the client backed out :( Also I got a job doing my neighborhood association website. This is exciting because it is something I can do for the neighborhood. Friday morning, Erick, Andy (a guy from work) and I ran the "St. Patrick's Day 5 Mile Run". It was cool, 34 degrees I think, but we did well. Erick hadn't run a five mile race in a long time, but he came out just fine.

Friday night Annie, Ken, Erick, Sara, Kristen and I went to the Ben Fold's concert in Indy. It was a good time. He is quite the showman.

Saturday Annie and I went on a 9.25 mile run. That is a long freaking way, but it wasn't too bad. I always do horrible on distances I haven't run before. But next time I will be fine. It took us just under an hour and half to run. I told Annie that we ran the equivalent of some movies. Crazy. My knees hurt a bit, which is different because usually my calves are the thing that hurt.

Saturday night Annie and I went over to Ken's house and watched "Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers", of course that was good. Maybe next weekend we will finish the trilogy off. Who knows. Today, we went to church then Annie, Sara and Kristen went down to the Edinburough(Sp?) Outlet shops. Erick and I ate at Hardees for lunch, where a lady came out riding a fake bull to give us our meal. Nah, I am just kidding. Good food though.

Erick and I watched Stalingrad which is a German movie. Very interesting. It ended much like "Das Boot", which is don't expect any to survive.

So that has been my week. I will try to do better this week.

Biggs here. I do appreciate the end to your long silence. It was terrible. The long silence, I mean. I too have had quite a week. With the new baby and all coming along much sooner than I realized, prep work has piled up. In the last week or so I built a huge Thomas the Train bed for current kid and it is awesome. Will have to send you a pic. Its like 10 feet long and 5 feet high. Quite impressive. Have also painted the new girl baby room and made chair rail for it. Will install chair rail tomorrow provided the Lord lets me get out of bed. Was up most of the night last night. Couldn't sleep so I caught a special on Awesome Tree Houses or something like that on Discovery. I think I can do that too. May be a good summer project. Hey, we're not the highest of tech. down here in KY, but the church has a new website one of the members has been working on. www.newhopecpchurch.org. there's some great stuff there. Glad you came out of retirement.
