A while back I blogged about how Annie and I each had gotten the Midnightbox.com, "Mystery Box".
Well, we got them in the mail last night and they were decent. I should note that it came in an envelop, that in no way, looked like a box.
Here is what we got between the two boxes.
2 - Midnightbox.com pen. One mini pen with lanyard and one regular type pen.
2 - Compaq, retractable phone cord device, that is great for that 1997 road warrior.
1 - USB mini hub. Nice.
1 - USB Light with a USB Car Adaptor. Suprisingly useful.
4 - IPod Nano covers (Annie took them to school to give away, due to the lack of anything Apple in our house, besides the apples I eat everyday for lunch)
Overall, not a bad haul.

I was looking through some old pictures and came across this gem.

Nothing like two dweebs acting like they are kissing the emperor at Celebration III in 2005.
<------------------ In other news I added a links area to the left of the blog to put up friends websites, so if you have a website let me know and I will add it to my site.

I was chatting on Skype with some friends this week about NES games that are still awesome to play even today. We are defining awesome, in that you can still enjoy sitting down and playing them for a few hours or few a days. In no particular order.
- Super Mario Brothers
- Contra
- Mike Tyson's Punchout
- Tetris
- Bionic Commando
- RC Pro-Am
- Mega Man
- Marble Madness
What do you think?

During Thanksgiving this past year, I declared that this Christmas was going to be a bearded Christmas for me. I ended up shaving once in December, but then didn't shave again until the end of January, except for my cheeks. I also didn't cut my hair for several months. I shaved off my facial hair in stages over a few days. See the results.....
Stage One, only cheeks have been shaved. That is about 10 weeks without a haircut and 5 weeks without shaving.
Phase two, a haircut and, what I like to call the cowboy look. I actually liked this look pretty well. I might sport it at some point in the future.
Phase three, the mustache phase. Annie hated the mustache, she couldn't...

My mom has been writing daily emails containing thoughts, views, interpetations and explainations on the Bible. I have encouraged her to setup a blog to store all her writings. Well she did!

It is Tuesday, which means that it is a Two for Tuesday on http://www.woot.com.
However, this Tuesday is very special. It is Super Tuesday! One of the most exciting days of this year. It looks like things are starting to shake up a bit. McCain seems to have a strong lead, but the Democrat race is still a toss up.
In my opinion if the Democrats want to lose, vote for Hillary, but that is just my opinion. I also think that Ron Paul is going to declare himself an independent soon and screw over the Republican party just like Ross Perot did in 1992.
Anyway, it is fun to watch and see how things shake out.

Well, I didn't think it would happen, but it did. The New York Giants have won the Super Bowl. It was a great game.
Three things were needed for this to be a good Super Bowl in my opinion.
1. It needed to be a a good close game.
2. The Patriots had to lose.
3. I wanted to see another Manning win the Super Bowl.
Awesome!
Super Tuesday is coming up, this year is shaping up to being real exciting!

Hey cats,
My birthday, and my brothers birthday is this Saturday (we are twins). Our names are Stuart and Erick, but a neighbor girl long ago just called us both Sterick, I always felt ripped off by this because my name only got two letters in it and Erick got his whole name smashed in there.
In years past our wives, have seen to it to throw some amazing parties. Usually these constitute surprises and what not.
This year because of babies, which are wonderful by way, we are keeping things low key.
Because of the lowness of the keys my sister sent the following email, which I find to be hillarious.
Because I will be unable to come up for your birthday, Mom will come bearing my gifts (just as she bore you 28 years ago and just as you bore her when you talk computers). You will notice that each gift is marked "Sterick." This is not because the gifts are the same, I have forgotten your names, or I can't tell you...

Just finished Dave Ramsey's, "The Total Money Makeover". Very good book. I feel I am pretty good with money but it had a number of ideas in it that I hadn't thought of. Also a number of good arguments about use of credit cards vs. debit cards as well as a very good explanation on which life insurance plan to get and why.
Anyway, it was really good. I think I would like to get on board with his easy to follow plan, however, I think this is going to take a team effort from Annie and I. Therefore, I have promised to read any book that Annie wants if she will read this book and discuss it with me.
Seems like a win/win to me.
Stuart
